The Catalan club is working on improving their financial status

Barcelona may have faced challenges this season, but club president Joan Laporta has unveiled a promising future for the Catalan giants, along with a significant financial boost through a €1.2 billion deal.

In the face of financial struggles, Barcelona is expected to offload one of its star players by the end of the season to alleviate some of the financial strain. However, Laporta has announced a major sponsorship deal with Nike, which will inject much-needed funds into the club.

Negotiations are underway for a monumental partnership agreement with Nike, where Barcelona stands to receive €120 million over the course of the next decade, amounting to a staggering €1.2 billion. Additionally, as part of the deal, Nike will provide an immediate €100 million bonus to Barcelona upon signing the sponsorship contract.
