Barcelona won against Olympiacos Piraeus 6-1 at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as Fermin Lopez scored hat-trick and the team bounced back after losing their previous match in the Champions League to PSG, and now they have 6 points from 3 games in the tournament and will be in high spirits ahead of the El Clásico against Real Madrid at the end of the weekend.
Fermin Lopez scored the 1st goal in the match after only 7 minutes, as he did it from close range after securing the ball off a defender. A few minutes later, Marcus Rashford was close to double the home side’s lead from a free kick, but his shot went wide of the left post.

In the 39th minute, the Catalan giants secured a 2-goal lead after another goal from Fermin Lopez as he was found by Pedro Fernandez inside the box and Lopez put the ball into the left side of the net.
However, the Greek team cut his deficit to a single goal at the beginning of the 2nd half after Ayoub El Kaabi’s header as he received a fantastic cross from Daniel Podence. This goal didn’t stand, but Olympiacos got a penalty and scored it to make it 2-1.
A few minutes later, Santiago Hezze received 2nd yellow card very controversially, and Olympiacos were left with 10 men, which led to 4 unanswered goals by Barcelona.
Lamine Yamal made it 3-1 from a penalty in the 68th minute, while Marcus Rashford scored for 4-1 in the 74th minute.
Only 2 minutes later, the Catalan side scored again as Fermin Lopez secured his hat-trick in the 76th minute, while the final goal in the match for 6-1 came in the 79th minute by Rashford as that was the English forward’s 2nd goal in the game.
Marcus Rashford has been involved in a goal in eight of his last nine Barcelona games:
