The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued a one game ban and undisclosed fine for Charlotte’s Brandt Bronico for a serious foul play during the game against the New York Red Bulls on Matchday 4, played on March 25.
The situation in question was reviewed by the Disciplinary Committee under the so-called Parameter 3, which states that if match officials do not issue a red card and if the foul play could be considered as dangerous play then the Committee has the authority to imply any further suspensions.

The aim of the Parameter is not only to ensure the players safety but also to protect the integrity of the game.
Therefore, in addition to Bronico, the Committee issued a further fine for Orlando’s Felipe Martins for a simulation in the 88th minute in the game against Philadelphia Union on March 25.
Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, have been found guilty of violation to the Mass Confrontation Policy after the whole team surrounded and pressurized the referee in the 63rd minute of the game against Sporting Kansas City on March 25. The players and head coach have been issued an undisclosed fine.
