The English Chelsea and the Spanish Barcelona are bidding for the French football star Kylian Mbappe with offers of money and players, DPA agency reports as Paris Saint-Germain striker does not want to accept the best offer, coming from Saudi Arabia.
DPA reports that people close to the owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly, are actively trying to put together an acceptable offer for the 24-year-old Mbappe, who will leave either this summer with a transfer fee or next year as a free agent.
Barcelona is preparing a similar deal while Saudi Al-Hilal will make another attempt to tempt Mbappe. However, the Frenchman himself refused to even meet with the team’s delegation last week in Paris.
Al- Hilal offered a record €300 million for Mbappe’s rights, which PSG accepted, but the player said ‘No’.
