Clinical France with 2-0 victory over Republic of Ireland

France emerged victorious in their group B clash against the Republic of Ireland 2-0 to more or less guarantee themselves a spot in the 2024 Euro on Thursday night.

Aurelien Tchoumeni opened the scoring inside 19 minutes with a brilliant hit that left Gavin Bazunu with absolutely no chance.

Marcus Thuram, who come on from the bench doubled the lead early in the second half and eventually put the game beyond Ireland to ensure France’s 100% win record.
