Cole Palmer has given his apology to head-coach Mauricio Pochettino for accidentally throwing a bottle at him during the mouth-watering 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
Following the Gunners’ equalizer Palmer threw a bottle in frustration and without him knowing it headed in Pochettino’s direction.
“When they scored their second goal I was getting a drink. I went to throw the bottle away, as you do, but didn’t look.” Palmer said via social media post.
“I just saw it loop dead slow and hit the gaffer. I said sorry to him and apologized properly after the game. Hopefully he won’t drop me for that!”
The 21-year-old scored a penalty, which put the Blues 2-0 up. He has had an impressive start to life in Chelsea, following a move from Manchester City in the summer.
