Los Blancos goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has sustained a fresh knee problem, which forced him to leave today’s practice session in tears.

Thibaut has not competed for his club this campaign after tearing his ACL during the preseason, but the Belgium player has been training with Real Madrid over the last few days and was expected to be available for selection after the international break.
“After the tests carried out on Tuesday on our goalkeeper, Courtois has been diagnosed with a torn internal meniscus in his right knee,” the La Liga giants shared with the media. “The problem occurred during today’s practice. Evolution pending.”
The problem is not the same knee that Thibaut tore in the summer.
The injury means that he could miss up to month and a half as if everything goes well with his recovery, we can see him on the pitch on May but if his injury requires a procedure, the goalkeeper will miss more time.
