Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beale said today that after consultations with doctors last week, Hamlin had been given the green light to join his team and participate in the training process.
“He is fully cleared,” Beane said. “He’s here [in Buffalo]…and he’s in a great headspace to make his return.”
Buffalo’s safety suffered a cardiac arrest on January 2nd on MNF in week 17 against Cincinnati Bengals after a bump with Tee Higgins. Damar was treated ASAP on the football field before going to the hospital.
Luckily, the player fully recovered and now will also be able to play football again if he wants.
He was drafted in the 6th round in 2021 and participated in 29 matches in NFL in the last 2 seasons.
