England secures World Cup bronze after crazy 6-4 win vs. France

England defeated France 6-4 to win the bronze medal in the World Cup, as the Three Lions had a 4-0 lead at halftime, but were very close to allowing their opponent to tie the result, but in the end, triumphed.

In a very crazy 1^st 45 minutes, England totally dominated and scored 4 times. The opening goal in the match came in the 3^rd minute as the goal was scored by Declan Rice, while Ezri Konsa doubled the lead in the 18^th minute.

Bukayo Saka scored twice in the last 10 minutes of the 1^st half to make his nation’s lead very comfortable before the 2^nd half.

However, France show different face after the break and scored 2 goals early as Kylian Mbappe scored in the 48^th minute and assisted Bradley Barcola 6 minutes later.

Kylian Mbappe, with his 2^nd goal in the match make France trail only a single goal, and they had 2 fantastic chances to tie the result, but Michael Olise missed them both.

That led to a counterattack in which Thomas Tuchel’s side won a penalty, and with Harry Kane on the bench, Bukayo Saka converted it for 5-3 in the 87^th minute.

That wasn’t all, as Dembele scored in the extra time for 5-4, but in the last attack in the match, Jude Bellingham scored for the final 6-4 and England won the bronze in the World Cup for the 1^st time in their history.
