Gabriel Jesus slams Arsenal directors after his transfer to Barcelona

Gabriel Jesus shared his frustration with the Arsenal hierarchy over how things unfolded before his sudden transfer to the Catalan side. The striker revealed that he was left completely in the dark by the north London team before being forced to train away from the 1^st-squad during the last several days at the club.

“The truth is, I was practicing. I did the entire preseason normally with the Gunners, and I already knew I wouldn’t be a first choice in attack and wouldn’t have many chances to be on the pitch. But nobody told me that from the club,” the Brazilian shared. “I’m professional, and I was training with my teammates until all of a sudden they put me to practice apart from the 1^st team.”

The ex-Man City forward shared his confusion over being removed from the main group:

“I was giving my best in training to be always available in case I got an opportunity to play at the highest level again. Luckily, that chance happened with Barcelona, as my move was arranged very quickly.”
