The Sky Blues head coach, Pep Guardiola, is not thinking about securing another Treble as his team prepares to play against Newcastle United in their FA Cup ¼ final tomorrow.
In the past campaign, Guardiola’s side triumphed in the EPL, FA Cup, and UCL. They could become the 1st English club to win straight Trebles if they defend all 3 trophies this season.
“The last 2 or 3 weeks of the campaign, I will focus on that if it’s still possible to be achieved,” shared the Man City boss.
As well as their FA Cup match against the Magpies at Etihad, Manchester City are 3rd in the league – a point behind the Gunners and the Reds – and will play against Real Madrid in the ¼ finals of the Champions League.
“I don’t think about Los Blancos yet,” added Pep. “Now it’s about our match on Saturday against Newcastle.”
The Sky Blues will be without Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson, but Jack Grealish can return as he is already training at full speed with the team.
“It looks like a little bit of tradition. Three years in a row.”
