Los Angeles DT retires from the league at the age of 32.

LA Rams DT Aaron Donald shared that he is retiring today after 10 dominant campaigns.

In those 10 years, Aaron was a 3-time Defensive Player of the Year, an 8th-time 1st team All-Pro, a 10-time Pro Bowl pick, and the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Donalds ends his career with 111 sacks, the 2nd-most among primary DTs in a career behind only John Randle. Aaron holds his organization’s record for career sacks.

“Throughout my time in NFL, I have given my everything to football both mentally and physically – each day was dedicated to becoming the best possible footballer I could be,” Aaron shared about his retirement.

“I respected football like no other, and I’m lucky to be able to conclude my National Football League career with the same team that selected me. Not many footballers get drafted to an organization, win a World Championship with that franchise, and retire as part of them. I do not, and will not, take that for granted.”

He and Sanders are the only footballers in the league’s history to play 10 campaigns and get picked to the Pro Bowl in each campaign.
