The North London club have signed Savinho from the Sky Blues for over 75 million pounds.
The Brazilian winger has joined Tottenham on a long-term deal with the club, and Spurs can pay up to another 10 million pounds to the Sky Blues in add-ons.
Savinho’s transfer to Tottenham has been over a year in the making, with the North London club failing to ink him in the past summer.
The Brazilian chose to remain with Man City, but he didn’t play much under Guardiola, making just 7 EPL starts.
“It takes some time to become a Spurs player, but I’m really happy that this happened in the end,” the Brazilian shared after his transfer.
“This is a fantastic chance for me at such a big club, and I will play for one of the best head coaches in the world.
“As soon as I discussed my future with De Zerbi, I knew that coming to Spurs would be the right choice. Roberto told me that he wants to see me reach my full potential, and I think he can help me achieve that.”
