The Three Lions captain Harry Kane shares that it is “too early” to judge whether he could play on for England until the next World Cup in 4 years after the painful ½ final loss by Argentina.
Defending World Cup champs scored 2 late goals to secure a 2-1 comeback against England and will face Spain in the final at the end of the weekend.
It was the 2nd World Cup ½ final loss in 8 years for the Three Lions and Harry Kane after a 2-1 loss by Croatia in 2018.
While Bayern Munich forward praised Leo Messi, who is 39 years old and still leads his country, the ex-Spurs forward is uncertain if he will be representing his nation in the next World Cup.
“Now it’s not the moment to discuss that. I need to see how I feel year by year and then decide,” shared Kane.
“I love representing England, and I’m really proud when I play for my country. However, 4 years is a long period of time, and I will become 33 years old in the summer, but as all see, Lionel Messi is 39 and still playing at the highest level.”
