Pep Guardiola is expected to attend Man City’s UCL match vs. PSG next week – the side’s 1st game at the Etihad since they were found guilty of 114 of the 115 charges brought against them by the EPL.
It will mark the 1st time Guardiola has returned to attend his former club’s home game since he left at the end of the past campaign after a decade as a head coach.
At the beginning of this month, an independent commission found Manchester City guilty of all charges relating to breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations.
However, the Sky Blues continue to deny any wrongdoing and have lodged an appeal vs. the findings in the EPL’s report that stated the team falsely inflated commercial revenues by 830 million pounds through “sham” deals.
After the verdict, Pep backed the Sky Blues’ owners and leadership and claims he will “always” be behind the team.
“I want every single Man City supporter across the world to know that I’m here,” the Spaniard shared.
Guardiola added that the club and the fans will get through this together.
Pep Guardiola is expected to be in attendance for Manchester City’s upcoming home Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain — his first return to the Etihad since his summer departure.
