Nuggets beat Celtics 115-109 and extended their winning streak to seven out of the last eight games

Nikola Jokic got his 20th triple-double of the season with an impressive performance of 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, guiding the Denver Nuggets to a 115-109 victory over the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Denver completed a season series sweep and extended its winning streak to seven out of eight games post the All-Star break. Jamal Murray contributed 19 points, while Aaron Gordon added 16 points, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Peyton Watson each scored 11 points for the Nuggets.

Despite a standout performance by Jaylen Brown, who posted season-highs of 41 points and 13 rebounds, the Celtics couldn’t secure the win. Kristaps Porzingis contributed 24 points and 12 rebounds, Jayson Tatum finished with 15 points, and Jrue Holiday added 12 for Boston.

Denver led 62-54 at halftime, but Boston made a strong start to the third quarter by scoring the first eight points. The Nuggets responded with a 14-5 run, establishing an 82-73 lead, and maintained a 90-80 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Although Boston attempted to rally, Denver held on to secure the victory. Jokic’s triple-double and key contributions from Murray and Gordon proved pivotal in the Nuggets’ success.
