Justin Jefferson is set to be place on the injured reserve list by the Minnesota Vikings, which is likely to rule out the wide receiver for the next 4 games, reports say.
It is a potential hamstring injury, which Jefferson sustained during 27-20 loss to the Chiefs over the weekend.
The wide receiver slipped on the U.S. Bank Stadium turf while trying to make a cut during a third-down pass in the Kansas area. As a result he limped off the pitch, holding his back and right leg during the 4th quarter.

Vikings’ head-coach Kevin O’Connell was adamant that the team will take no risk with Jefferson and will give him as much time needed for the injury to heal.
“We’re going to have to, medically, make a good decision and help almost protect him from himself a little bit in a way, where we have to take care of him and get him back to 100%,” O’Connell said.
