The French goalkeeper is in the final year of his Tottenham deal and has been benched by new manager Ange Postecoglou this campaign, as he has not appeared in a match since the beginning of the season.
The MLS team most likely will not pay a transfer fee as the North London club will be happy that Hugo will leave, and they will no longer pay him his huge salary.
Tottenham bought Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli for almost 22 million dollars during the summer transfer window. The Italian has impressed since the beginning of the season as he is the 1st choice behind the bars of the Spurs.
Lloris had the chance to leave Postecoglou’s side during the summer but decided to stay despite interest from Lazio, Nice, and teams from Saudi Arabia.
