The Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique had a hard time swallowing the 1-4 loss against Newcastle in group “F” of the Champions League. According to him, the result was unfair in view of the performances of both teams at St. James’s Park.
“These games are tough for coaches! I think we started with a very good attitude, we dealt with Newcastle’s press, Dembele had an early chance. To be honest, I think the result is unfair. I congratulate Newcastle who played very well. But I think that 4:1 is rough,” said Enrique.
“Is this a key defeat in the battle in the group? I don’t know. Our goal is to go to the last 16. The group is difficult, we know it, we are still second. It will be fun in the last games. We have to manage them better.” added the Spaniard.
