Man City prepares new improved contract for Haaland

Manchester City management is ready to seriously increase the salary of their top goalscorer Erling Haaland.

The Citizens plan to offer the Norwegian a salary of £600,000-a-week if he agrees to extend his contract beyond 2027. The goal is to tie the striker even longer and make him a franchise player for the club like Sergio Aguero.

Haaland could thus receive up to a 60.5% pay rise compared to last season, in which he scored 52 goals in all competitions.

At the moment, the Norwegian striker leads Premier League goalscorer’s table with 6 goals after 4 matches in the Premier League. According to some sources, Haaland is in Real Madrid’s transfer list, but only if the Spanish side couldn’t land Kylian Mbappe next summer.
