The team from Old Trafford shared that attacker Marcus Rashford “has taken responsibility for his actions” after news outlets wrote that he had been in nightspots in Northern Ireland on Wednesday and Thursday.
The English forward missed Manchester United training on Friday after claiming he was ill and was not part of Erik ten Hag’s squad for the 4-2 FA victory against Newport.
The Red Devils shared on social media: “The situation has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now finished.”
The England international is already training with the team.
He can be part of the Red Devils team that will face Wolverhampton on Thursday in a match from the Premier League.
This is not Rashford’s 1st trouble with Man Utd this campaign as he was not part of the team’s Carabao Cup 4th round loss against Newcastle in November as a disciplinary measure.
