Manchester United are contemplating a surprising move for Leeds star Robin Koch, reports say.
The Red Devils are expected to buy plenty of new players over the summer transfer window as Erik Ten Hag continues to implement his style of play at the club.
However, the Leeds defender was not one of United’s priorities until a recent report, which showed that the German is on Ten Hag’s shortlist of desired players.
The 26-year-old was a firm starter at Leeds, making 36 appearances last season, before the Yorkshire team eventually got relegated.
Koch’s contract expires next summer and it may be in Leeds’ best interest to sell him now, before he becomes a free agent.
The Old Trafford team is in dire search of defender as club captain Harry Maguire is unlikely to stay at the club.
