David (61) ended the Hammers’ 43-year wait for a title in his 2nd period as the team’s boss by triumphing with the Europa Conference League in the past campaign, but fans were angry after the disappointing results in the past few months as Moyes latest clash finished with humiliating 5-0 defeat against Chelsea.
“I have loved my period leading this amazing team, and I would like to express my attitude for the change to be West Ham’s head coach,” Moyes shared after the news that he will leave.
“I have spent 4 and a ½ fantastic seasons here, and West Ham is in a better position than when I became its manager for the 1st time in 2019.”
He added that when he joined the Hammers for a 2nd spell, the team was close to the relegation zone but now he is leaving it in the top 10.
