Tuesday was the last day for Orlando to guarantee the forward 2.2 million dollar deal for the upcoming campaign. The player can now be claimed by a franchise allowing the cap room or having an exchange exception to absorb his salary.
The waiver is in accordance with the last campaign standings, which means that Pistons have 1st dibs. The franchise in the past tried to get Bol Bol at the beginning of 2022, but it didn’t happen because the forward didn’t pass the physical.
