Portugal trashed the outsider in their Euro 2024 qualifying group – Luxembourg 6-0 away in their second game in the international break.
Cristiano Ronaldo started the show in the 9th minute after precise pass from Nuno Mendes and an easy tap in.
Just six minutes later Joao Felix made the score 2-0 after burying a close-range header inside the right post.
In the 18th minutes Bernardo Silva also scored after launching himself at a cross, leaving Anthony Moris no chance.
Just over half an hour of play Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second of the night. He was left with loads of space into the box and unleashed a great shot in the bottom left corner.
In the 77th minute Otavio also put his name on the scoresheet with a great placed header. Five minutes before the end Portugal won a penalty, but Rafael Leao wasted the chance to score the sixth for his team. Just couple minutes later, though, AC Milan striker showed great individual skills and finished his effort with a perfect strike for 6-0.
With the three points Portugal leads the standings with six – two away from Slovakia.
