Thomas Partey is still not present at Arsenal’s training ground, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed.
Partey has been sidelined since the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Manchester City on October 8 and rumors have emerged that he has returned.
However, Arteta has confirmed that this is not the case and the midfielder will certainly miss Arsenal clash with West Ham United.
“We’re not going to have those two (Partey and Tomiyasu), then we have the suspension of Kai [Havertz], so I think we’re gonna have five out, but we have lots of other players willing to play.” the Spaniard said.
The African Cup of Nations kicks off at January 8 and it is unknown whether the Ghanian, who is expected to feature there, will be able to return in time.
