The Bees had 1 goal lead after the 1st half as Neal Maupay gave the away side the lead with his goal in the 15th minute.
However, Tottenham started the 2nd half phenomenally and netted 3 goals within 10 minutes. Destiny Udogie tied the game with his goal in the 48th minute as only 1 minute later, Brennan Johnson netted after Timo Werner’s assist to secure the 1st lead in the game for the home side. Richarlison, with his goal in the 56th minute, made it 3-1 for Spurs.
However, Ivan Toney scored again after his return from the suspension to make it 3-2, and the Bees had chances to tie the match until the end, but they missed it.
Tottenham climbed to 4th place with 43 points after 22 matches, while Brentford are in 15th place with 22 points after 21 games as the Bees are only 4 points ahead of the relegation zone.
