Trabzonspor shared that they have completed the free-transfer inking of former Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, ending 1 of the most interesting sagas during the current transfer window.
The Turkish team shared a video of the Egyptian’s 1st appearance in the club’s kit and wrote: “In the maroon and blue shirt for the 1st time in front of the cameras, and debut message to the great supporters of Trabzonspor.”
Salah asked Trabzonspor supporters in the video if they were ready, and said he would see them soon.
The transfer of the ex-Liverpool forward to Trabzonspor happened so quickly after the Turkish club shared several days ago that they began discussions with the Egyptian, and then revealed the date of his arrival in the country to undergo tests and sign a deal.
The transfer finally ended the drama after weeks of rumors about where Salah would continue his career after his deal with the Reds expired. Besiktas were the favorite to sign him, but Trabzonspor acted very quickly in the last few days, and now Salah will wear their shirt in the upcoming season.
