La Liga has postponed Valencia’s and Levante’s upcoming league matches at the team’s request after a deadly fire in the Spanish city yesterday.

At least 4 people lost their lives, and up to 15 are missing after a massive blaze that ripped through 2 joined apartment blocks.
The Bats were scheduled to face away from home Granada tomorrow, while 2nd-division Levante was also due to host FC Andorra tomorrow.
“La Liga shares the postponement of the games between Granada CF and Valencia CF scheduled for Saturday,” the Spanish governing body shared with the media.
“This is in answer to the request for postponement made by Valencia CF and Levante UD, which had the agreement of the affected club Granada CF and FC Andorra, due to the fire that occurred and killed people.”
The Spanish governing body announced a minute’s silence would be held for the people who lost their lives at all matches in La Liga and Segunda División this weekend.
