Verstappen triumphs in the final race of 2023 in Abu Dhabi

Max Verstappen finished his phenomenal campaign and the most dominant campaign in Formula 1 history with his 19^th victory of the year at today’s Abu Dhabi GP as Mercedes finished ahead of Ferrari in the 2^nd place in the constructors’ championship by only 3 points.

The Dutch, who secured his championship in 2023 back in October at the Qatar GP, extended his own record for the most victories in a campaign by 4 in the current year and won the championship by 290 points from teammate Sergio Perez.

The win in today’s race in the Middle East saw the 3-time World Champ take 3^rd in F1’s all-time winner’s list from Sebastian Vettel with his 54^th triumph.

At Yas Marina Circuit, Charles Leclerc from Ferrari finished 2^nd, almost 18 seconds behind Max, while George Russell from Mercedes was 3rd and took the last place on the podium.
