Barcelona is close to buying Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus in a transfer worth around 10 million euros.
The move for the Brazilian striker is believed to be in the final stages, and while further details still need to be finalized, everything is expected to be ready before tomorrow’s deadline.
Napoli also wanted to buy the Gunners striker, but in the end, it seems that the Brazilian will join last campaign’s LaLiga champions and will travel tomorrow for tests.
Gabriel joined the North London club from Man City 4 years ago and lifted the Premier League with the Gunners despite his minutes on the pitch being limited.
The Brazilian has played 123 matches for Arsenal, scoring 32 goals and providing 28 assists.
Jesus’ contract with Mikel Arteta’s side is until the end of the current season, and that’s why the club is willing to sell him for only 10 million euros, as otherwise they would lose him for free next summer.
The Catalan side focused on buying Atletico Madrid’s striker, Julian Alvarez, but the Madrid team president blocked the transfer, so they are now looking for an alternative.
