The Denver Nuggets emerged victorious against the Los Angeles Clippers 111-108 in a hard-fought game on Tuesday night.
Nikola Jokic once again was center stage as his 32 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists proved instrumental in Denver’s success.

Jokic was perfect on 14 free throw attempts, including two with 13 seconds left that helped the Nuggets hold off the Clippers’ comeback try.
The Los Angeles team remain winless since James Harden’s arrival on October 30, despite the point guard’s finest performance so far. The 34-year-old notched 21 points, but it was not enough to defeat the defending champions.
Paul George finished off with a career-high 35 points, outscoring Jokic and making a real statement.
Aaron Gordon scored 20 points, while Reggie Jackson added another 18 for Denver, which has won both of its games in the West B bracket.
The game was in the balance as the NBA champions were slightly ahead all throughout the match and despite the best of efforts from the Los Angeles team, they just managed to hold on.
