Jürgen officially became the manager of his country.

Jürgen Klopp is officially Germany’s boss as the German Football Association revealed today.

The former Liverpool head coach will replace Julian Nagelsmann, who left his position after the failure at the World Cup this summer. Klopp inked a deal running until the end of the 2030 World Cup and will start his duties in the middle of next month.

Since leaving Anfield 2 years ago, the German head coach had turned down numerous managerial offers. Now he will return to be a manager as he will do it for the 1st time in his career by leading a country.

Nagelsmann’s departure happened after the team was eliminated in the 1/16 finals of the World Cup by Paraguay after a shootout, after the game finished 1-1.

Jürgen shared this after inking his deal: “The national team is able to unite our country as nothing else can, and that’s why it’s so special for me to become the head coach of Germany.”

Klopp added that he is thankful to Red Bull for his job with them in the past 18 months and that he is looking forward to leading the national team.
