Gary Neville has claimed that Gareth Southgate must start the Three Lions subs who came on and improved the performance vs. Slovenia in the Euro 2024 1/8 finals.
Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer performed superbly compared to the players that they replaced in England’s yesterday’s 0-0 draw, which was enough for the 1st place in Group C. Anthony Gordon and Trent Alexander-Arnold also came on the pitch in the 2nd half – and Gary shares the Three Lions head coach must now rely in his young players to drive England’s performance to a higher level.
"It'll be really interesting to see how many of those that finished the game, start on Sunday" 👀

Asked about what he thinks about Mainoo, Palmer and Gordon, Neville praised them and claimed that he must add Alexander-Arnold to that.
“Every sub improved our level. That sometimes can happen. The match opens up a bit. But I felt those footballers who came on would make England play better from the 1st minute, not just later from the bench.”
