Jamal Murray led the way for the defending NBA champions with 25 points, while Michael Porter Jr. scored 22.

Nikola Jokic had 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists as Denver routed the short-handed Charlotte for their 11th straight loss.

“Guys were locked in and defense was leading to offense,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said. “We took care of it in the second half, and that’s Denver Nuggets basketball.”

Miles Bridges was the highest scorer for the Hornets with 26 points. Nick Richards and Brandon Miller added 15 points each as Charlotte succumbed to its 8th straight loss on the road.
