Spain dominates France for 2-0 win to reach World Cup final

Spain left no chance to France and defeated them 2-0 at AT&T Stadium to advance to the World Cup final.

La Roja was the better team from the 1^st minute on the pitch as the opening goal in the match came in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty for Lukas Digne’s foul against Lamine Yamal.

Kylian Mbappe and his teammates didn’t find an answer, and in the 58^th minute, things became worse for them as Spain doubled its lead. Pedro Porro made it 2-0 after almost an hour, following Dani Olmo’s assist.

La Roja continued to dominate the match despite the lead and left no real chances to France, who finished the semifinal without a single big chance to score, and despite being the favorite to win the game, they will need to pack and leave the USA.

Spain will face either England or Argentina for the trophy as the 2^nd semifinal will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta later today, as that can be Messi’s last World Cup appearance or he can lead his nation to another final.
