Aston Martin’s team boss Mike Krack has remained positive over Aston Martin and believes the team will continue fighting until the end in the quest of overtaking McLaren in the Constructors.
The green cars have endured a difficult last couple of months after a severe drop in performance, but in Brazil they hooked it all together and looked like a rejuvenated team as Fernando Alonso clinched a last-gasp podium place. Lance Stroll finished in P5, underlining the progress it has been made.
All of this has fueled the Team Principal as he vowed to keep the fight with McLaren no matter how hard it seems at this moment.
“It’s a two-stage approach,” Krack said. “After what happened over the last months, I think we have to celebrate in the first place because we have managed a turnaround.”
“I think we have to look at everything and see how we can close that gap moving forward. But I said it all the time, we are continuing the fight and we will never give up.”
