Bellingham breaks Ronaldo’s record for most goals in opening 15 games

Jude Bellingham wrote his name in the history books during Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Cadiz as his goal in the 74th helped him overhaul a record, set by none other but Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bellingham missed last 2 weeks with shoulder injury, but returned on the pitch with a bang, notching his 11th goal of the season and 14th overall across all competitions.

By doing so the Englishman overhauled the record for most goals scored for Los Blancos in the opening 15 games. It was held by Ronaldo, who had bagged 13, which tied him with club legend Alfredo Di Stefano.

The achievement underlines just how exceptional of a season the 20-year-old is having and Real Madrid will be hoping for him to keep that up for their upcoming La Liga games.
