After succumbing to a painful 101-97 loss in Game 1 the Cavaliers bounced back to tie the score with an emphatic performance.
Darious Garland led the way for the rejuvenated team with 32 points, while Caris LeVert added another 24 points coming off the bench. Donovan Mitchell had 17 points and 13 assists.
For the Knicks Julius Randle had 22 points, as Jalen Brunson finished the night with 20.
It was pretty controlled game from Cleveland as they never looked in doubt. Many time during the season they have faltered, but not this time as the win sets the stage for Game 3, which will be held at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
