The winger is labeled as 1 of the best young talents in his native Brazil but, should the deal be completed, Willian will not join the west London team until 2025.
The team has prioritized inking young footballers ever since Todd Boehly became the owner of the Blues 2 years ago, with Chelsea investing more than 1 billion pounds since the takeover.
Chelsea signed a lot of players from South America over the last 2 years. Andrey Santos and Kendry Páez inked with the Blues in the past year, while Thiago Silva will leave the team to return to Fluminense after the final game of their EPL campaign tomorrow.
