Manchester City found guilty of breaking financial rules

Man City have been found guilty of breaching most of the 115 financial rules they were accused of breaking.

The big news is that sanctions have not been decided, but the independent panel has ruled the Sky Blues guilty of all but 1 count. The EPL still hasn’t commented on the news.

The Etihad club also hasn’t commented on the verdict yet.

Manchester City will appeal the decision, which will make the process longer before any sanctions are imposed on the team.

The other EPL teams are believed to have been informed about the decision.

The Sky Blues won 8 trophies during the period in which they were found to have breached the rules (2009-2018), including 3 EPL titles, 3 League Cups, one Community Shield, and the FA Cup.
