Chelsea beat Newcastle 3-2 at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea won against Newcastle United 3-1 in London as the team bounced back after 2 draws in a row in Premier League.

Cole Palmer’s fantastic shot deflected from Nicolas Jackson’s legs and entered the Magpies’ net for Chelsea to take the lead in the 6^th minute.

However, near the end of the 1^st half, Bruno Guimaraes passed the ball to Alexander Isak and the Swedish finished with a phenomenal strike to tie the result in the 43^rd minute.

Mykhailo Mudryk replaced Sterling in the 71^st minute and the Ukrainian scored only 5 minutes later after a solo run as he beat the Magpies goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and netted to secure the points for his team.

Jacob Murphy scored in the 90th minute to make Newcastle trail only 1 goal before the extra time.

Chelsea are in 11^th place with 39 points after 27 matches, while Newcastle are in 10^th place with 40 points after 28 games as the Magpies had only 1 win in their last 4 league fixtures.
