The Blues are undefeated in 4 straight matches in the league.

Chelsea won against Newcastle United 3-1 in London as the team bounced back after 2 draws in a row in Premier League.

Cole Palmer’s fantastic shot deflected from Nicolas Jackson’s legs and entered the Magpies’ net for Chelsea to take the lead in the 6th minute.

However, near the end of the 1st half, Bruno Guimaraes passed the ball to Alexander Isak and the Swedish finished with a phenomenal strike to tie the result in the 43rd minute.

Cole Palmer netted in the 58th minute after a fantastic strike from the edge of the box, and the Blues took over the lead again – 2-1.

Only 2 minutes later, Raheem Sterling had a great opportunity to pass the ball and the result to become 3-1 for the North London side but he decided to finish the attack by himself and missed.

Mykhailo Mudryk replaced Sterling in the 71st minute and the Ukrainian scored only 5 minutes later after a solo run as he beat the Magpies goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and netted to secure the points for his team.

Jacob Murphy scored in the 90th minute to make Newcastle trail only 1 goal before the extra time.

Chelsea are in 11th place with 39 points after 27 matches, while Newcastle are in 10th place with 40 points after 28 games as the Magpies had only 1 win in their last 4 league fixtures.
