The New Jersey Devils have appointed Chuck Fletcher as an advisor to Tom Fitzgerald, the president of hockey operations and GM, the franchise revealed today.

Chuck most recently worked as GM of the Philadelphia Flyers from 2018 to 2023. Philly had a 141-145-43 record under him as general manager, with 1 postseason clinch 4 years ago.
Fletcher also worked as the GM of the Minnesota Wild for 9 years, from 2009-18, and helped the franchise advance to the postseason for 6 straight campaigns.
He and Tom both worked as assistant GMs with the Pittsburgh Penguins under then GM Ray Shero from 2006-09.
New Jersey also shared that they appointed ex- goaltender Manny Legace as head goaltending scout and ex- defenceman Andy Greene as an advisor for the operations in the team.
