Everton agree to re-ink Grealish on loan from Manchester City

Everton have agreed a deal to bring Jack Grealish back on loan from Man City for the campaign.

The English midfielder will undergo his tests today, with the transfer expected to be completed before today’s transfer deadline.

Jack spent a large part of the past season with the Toffees under a similar deal, scoring 2 goals and giving 6 assists in 20 matches, before suffering a campaign-ending foot problem at the beginning of 2026.

Grealish had been linked with other clubs – including his boyhood team Aston Villa- but the 30-year-old winger preferred to return to the Toffees.

With Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye expected to be sold for 65 million pounds to Manchester City, the team wants to bolster their attacking options before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Merseyside team is also close to inking Monaco and USA striker Folarin Balogun for 40 million pounds.

However, their offer to re-sign Brazilian forward Richarlison from Spurs seems off right now because they haven’t agreed personal terms with the player.
