'It's going to be loud' says KD

New Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant is expecting a loud crowd at Footprint Center when he makes his home debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.

“I’m glad I was able to get a couple on the road to get my feet wet because I know it’s going to be loud in there,” Durant said.

“I’m looking forward to our fans. I know they can’t wait to see us out on the floor.

“I’m just trying to get back to normal as soon as possible,” Durant said. “I’m glad I’m playing again, and things will get back to normal.”

The 34-year-old forward has played in three games with the Suns since the team acquired him from the Brooklyn Nets ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline.

KD made his debut in the Suns’ 105-91 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on March 1 and also helped Phoenix defeat the Chicago Bulls 125-104 and the Dallas Mavericks 130-126.

Four of the Suns’ next five matchups will be at home, beginning with Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
