Cleveland blew out Boston at TD Garden to even the matchup.

Donovan Mitchell notched 29 points, Evan Mobley scored 21 and had 10 boards, and the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the top-seeded Boston Celtics 118-94 at TD Garden in Boston, MA, to even their 2nd-round postseason matchup at 1-1.

Two days after being defeated by 25, with Mitchell notching 33 but receiving little help, Cavs seized the lead in the 3rd quarter and answered with a double-digit triumph. Donovan notched 16 in the 3rd, hitting 3 consecutive baskets at the beginning of the 4th.

Jayson Tatum finished with 25 points for the Celtics, and Jaylen Brown notched 19. But Derrick White, whose 25 points in the 1st match from the series helped Boston to win, finished with just 10 points, missing 7 of his 8 from the 3-point line.

The matchup moves to Ohio for the next 2 matches on Saturday and Monday, with a return trip to TD Garden for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Caris LeVert notched 21 points off the bench for the Cavaliers, while Boston’s  Kristaps Porzingis missed his 3rd consecutive match with a strained calf problem.
