Mitchell notches 39 points as Cavs eliminate Magic after 106-94 win

Donovan Mitchell notched 39 points, Caris LeVert scored 15, and the Cleveland Cavaliers won against the Orlando Magic 106-94 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH, in Game 7 to reach the next round in the Eastern Conference postseason.

Cleveland trailed by 18 in the 1^st half and was close to being eliminated in the 1^st round for the 2^nd consecutive season.

However, Donovan, who notched 50 in a Game 6 defeat in Florida and has been battling a left knee problem for months, put Cavaliers on his back. Mitchell carried his team against the Magic, whose postseason inexperience showed in the 2^nd half.

Evan Mobley had 16 boards and Darius Garland scored a critical 3-pointer in the 4^th quarter for Cavaliers, which triumphed in its 1^st postseason matchup without LeBron James since 1993.
