Denver came back from a 20-point deficit to defeat Los Angeles.

Jamal Murray scored a 15-foot step-back jumper at the buzzer, and the Denver Nuggets returned from a 20-point 2nd half trail to shock the LA Lakers 101-99 at Ball Arena in Denver, CO, and take a 2-0 lead in their postseason matchup.

Jamal’s fadeaway, falling-down match-triumphing winner provided Denver with their 1st lead since 5-3 at the beginning and gave the reigning champs their 10th straight victory against the Lakers.

The matchup will continue in Los Angeles with Game 3 on Thursday.

Murray’s buzzer-beater came after LeBron missed a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left, and the match evened 99-99.

Michael Porter Jr. secured the board with 13 seconds left, and Denver didn’t call a timeout, and Murray provided his magic as the guard finished with 20 points, including 14 in the 4th quarter, and Nikola Jokic finished with a triple-double – 20 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists. Porter notched 22 points and Aaron Gordon added 14 for the victory.

Davis led Los Angeles with 32 points, while LeBron finished with 26 points, and D’Angelo Russell notched 23 with a career-postseason-high of 7 three-pointers.

Los Angeles led 59-44 at halftime and had a 20-point advantage early in the 3rd quarter but blew it.
