PSG secured a very dramatic 5-4 victory against Bayern Munich at Parc des Princes as the intrigue remains for the 2nd leg in Bavaria, where it will be decided which of these teams will play in the Champions League final.
The match started better for the Bavarian side as they opened the score in the 17th minute when Harry Kane converted a penalty.
However, 2 fast goals within 9 minutes secured the 1st lead in the game for the French team as Kvaratskhelia and Neves scored the goals before Michiel Olise tied the result in the 41st minute.
In the extra time of the 1st half, this time the home side was awarded a penalty and Dembele converted it for 3-2.
Things looked fantastic for Luis Enrique’s team at the beginning of the 2nd half as, within 2 minutes, both Kvaratskhelia and Dembele scored, and PSG secured a comfortable 5-2 lead after 58 minutes.
Bayern, however, answered with 2 goals within 3 minutes between the 65th and 68th minutes by Upamecano and Luis Diaz, which meant that these 2 sides scored 9 goals combined for fewer than 70 minutes.
Until the end, no more goals were scored by either of the teams, and who will advance will be decided in Germany in the 2nd leg.
