Max Verstappen started second, but won the Brazilian Grand Prix Sprint race on Saturday. The three-times world champion had to start behind Lando Norris, but spent only about 200 meters behind him until the first corner, where he dove on the inside and took the lead, not giving it up until the end of the 24-lap sprint.
Behind him Lando Norris lost his second place to Russell, but then both Mercedes cars lost pace and the McLaren driver finished second ahead of Sergio Perez with the second Red Bull.

Ferrari drivers had a good battle with Alpha Tauri’s Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda as well as Lewis Hamilton, who used up his tires a lot by the end of the race and was a sitting duck to all his competitors, but luckily, the race wasn’t longer.
